Altar
Wind
by Anwyn & George Leverett
Inspired by the open, airy, and mystical qualities
of winter, this disc weaves together the magical sounds of
the Celtic harp, hammered dulcimer, hurdy gurdy, bowed psaltery,
pennywhistle, and voice. Ever seeking to expand our musical
stylings, George played the wire strung Celtic harp on several
of the songs.
This collection features many medieval, Celtic, and romantic
favorites, as well as our own compositions.

| THE
AVALON MEDITATIONS - Magical Journeys to the Isles of the
Blessed
by Mara Freeman
(with music by Gerry Smida)
Avalon
is the Inner Temple of the Mysteries of Britain, a landscape
of the soul, a country of the heart. It is the land which
the poet and mystic see in vision, where the artist and
musician find inspiration; where the soul goes for spiritual
refreshment: an ageless land that offers initiation and
enlightenment to all those who set sail for her shores.
These
four VisionJourney meditations, set to the haunting music
of Celtic harp and zither, will open the ‘magic casements’
of the mind, guiding you to this hidden realm of timeless
beauty and wisdom where you may contact a deep source of
magic, healing and power.

CD: Bending Tradition
by Emerald Rose
Emerald
Rose is an energetic, North Georgia Pagan Celtic band who
plays both traditional tunes & original songs derived
from the Celtic tradition. The songs are high-energy, spirited,
& often "eclectic" - but always sung &
played with heart. Their new CD rocks with the best of them.
Track list: 1. Penny in the Well - original, pop with Celtic
undertones; 2. Fire in the Head - fast-paced "mouth
music" piece with Celtic shamanism theme; 3. Lucky
Man - the old Emerson, Lake, & Palmer number, as it
should have been; 4. Green Hills of Garland/Gallagher Lass/Ferrets
Nose - original jigs; 5. Red Haired Mary - a traditional
ballad transformed to modern pop; 6. Pagan Girl - pure pagan
pop; 7. Come by the Hills - a beautiful traditional Irish
ballad; 8. Johnny Cope - a rousing Scottish fighting song;
9. Merry Mayfolk - an upbeat May song with a universal message;
10. Castle of Arianrhod - mysterious delving into Welsh
myth & legend; 11. Freya, Shakti - praise for the Goddess
in her many forms; 12. Unfinished Business - jazz jam with
bouzouki & whistle; 13. Hills of America - an anthem
of the Celtic Diaspora. It is the band’s desire to
help keep the Celtic musical heritage alive and carry it
on into the future. With music like this, the longevity
of Celtic music is assured!

Hearth Light - NEWEST RELEASE!
by Anwyn & George Leverett
Hearkening
to country hearth & home, spinning, weaving & harvest
times, Hearth Light is as bright and cheery as a dancing
candle flame. Merry tunes are played on Celtic harp, wire
harp, hammered dulcimer, hurdy gurdy, bowed psaltery, penny
whistle, guitar & recorders. CD Contains both traditional
and original Celtic & Neo-Pagan selections.
"George
& Anwyn performed accoustically by candlelight (and
introduced their new CD) at our 2nd annual West Coast Druid
Festival in Northern California at the Avenue of the Giants
- an awesome Redwood forest campground - and they enchanted
all of us with their magickal music. Some of us even saw
some dimensional shifts and faery activity in the tall trees
as the nature spirits came to witness the beauty and lively
cheerfulness of the music - which ranged from ethereal to
teasingly sassy...we hope to have them back again next year!"

Hooded Man: Celtic Harp Music
by Jerry Marchand
Inspired by tales of Robin Hood and Maid Marian, Celtic harpist
Marchand presents fourteen soft and gentle instrumentals which
describe "The Blessing of Sherwood Forest" and other
scenes from Nottingham in days of olde. Featuring 25-, 36-
and 38-string harps, accompanied by violin, acoustic guitar,
flute and keyboards, the music flows effortlessly and gives
rise to reveries of sun dappled, verdant clearings where clandestine
lovers meet and dance in homage to the Green Man. Due to his
emotive technique - particularly on the wire strung harp -
Marchand`s original compositions rate as highly as the two
traditional numbers included, "Cutting of the Fern"
and "Child Grove." Taken altogether, this is a supremely
pleasant, consistently relaxing listening experience, well
suited for massage or other introspective pursuits. 14 Tracks.
